Hey There Everyone,
Yes it's me again! I know I just posted, but I wanted to separate the next topic. I had a interesting outing with a friend last night. She was able to help me what 4 new pages in my scrapbook. These pages were full of pictures I took while representing people with disabilities at a conference a few years back. It brought back a lot of fun memories for me. That was the first time I really was able to do something independent of my parents with the help of a personal assistant and friend. It was definitely a fun time and I learned a lot about myself there. That being said, I think those pages will always remind me I am not alone in my struggle with a disability and to never give up hope.
Anyway, we did get a lot done and I think they are right when they say pictures are worth a thousand words.. But as I will explain, I think music is too. As my friends know, I have been pretty down lately. Life is stressful, you know. Even in summer. Still. As stated in previous posts, I just bought myself two CDs. One of them being Mercy Me's Undone. Anyway, 1 song really seems to illustrate what I have to keep doing through the difficult times. The song is entitled keep singing. It reminds me I have to keep singing and keep believing things will get better no matter what.
Thank you God for bringing that song into my life exactly when I needed it the most!
